Are You Drinking Enough Water?

Water affects every part of your body. It is needed to flush wastes and toxins. Throughout the day we loose water through sweat, urine, breath and bowel movements, so you must constantly replace your supply. 

The big benefits of drinking water include:

How much water should you drink each day?

A healthy adult should drink 6-8 eight-ounce glasses of water each day. Other drinks can count, but some, like those with caffeine, alcohol or sweeteners, can actually work to dehydrate you. You can get water through fruits and vegetables, as well.

You can tell if you are getting enough water by looking at your urine. It should be pale yellow or clear. If it is dark yellow, you need to be drinking more water.

To help avoid feelings of fatigue after chiropractic visits, patients should consider drinking plenty of water before and after their treatment.
